Our Dental Services
We are able to provide a wide range of dental services and treatments, some of which are listed below. We would be pleased to discuss your individual requirements, so if you require further information please speak to any member of the team. Further descriptions of many procedures can also be found in the Dental info. section.
Hygienist Treatment
Prevention and early detection is the cornerstone of our philosophy. The Hygienist will show you how to control plaque and tartar build-up to keep your gums disease free and to prevent decay. If you have tartar that needs removing she will be able to carefully scale it off and treat any gum problems. Many of our patients see the Hygienist on a regular basis.
Cosmetic Treatment
Your smile is one of the most important aspects of how you appear to others. There are many treatments that can enhance your smile such as Tooth Coloured Fillings, Crowns and Veneers, Bridges to fill unsightly gaps, and Tooth Whitening.
Tooth Whitening (Bleaching)
This can be one of the simplest and most effective ways of enhancing your smile. The process removes any deep discolouration, without affecting the teeth in any way, to leave you with brighter, whiter teeth.
Crowns
Crowns are a custom made restoration that fit over the tooth. They are a good way of strengthening broken down teeth in a cosmetic way. We offer the latest types of metal-free ceramic crowns for the most aesthetic results.
Veneers
A Veneer is a wafer thin piece of porcelain that is bonded onto the front of a tooth. With the use of the latest ceramics, this is often the best way of masking discolouration or other defects without having the whole tooth crowned.
Bridges
A Bridge can fill an unsightly gap giving you more confidence. They are easier to tolerate than dentures as they are fixed rigidly in your mouth.
Dentures
Many people still require dentures, and we are able to offer the latest designs including injection moulded plastics for the ultimate in strength and aesthetics, and tooth coloured clasps for partial dentures so that no metal will be showing.
Gumshields
If you play any contact sports it is most important that you protect your mouth by having a custom made professional gumshield. This could save you a lot of pain and money! Modern designs can be in your team colours, or even a Union Jack.
Needle free anaesthetics
For many people one of the fears of attending the dentist is the possible need for an injection. For some teeth that need treating we can offer a system that avoids the use of any needles by "spraying" an anaesthetic solution into the gum.
