Appointments
Requesting an Appointment
You can book an appointment by calling the practice during opening hours or, for our private patients, by completing the online appointment request form. Our receptionist will contact you to confirm your appointment. If the requested time is not available a suitable, alternate time will be arranged.
Appointment slots for certain times of the day are more popular and tend to be filled up quickly. If you wish to have an appointment during these times, please request your appointment well in advance.
Our NHS practice hours are in our patient information leaflet and on the section detailing our services, as well as the times when we can provide urgent treatment for NHS patients at short notice. Urgent treatment means treatment that the dentist considers necessary to relieve severe pain or prevent your oral condition deteriorating before you can make a normal appointment. Out of hours you should call NHS Direct on 0845 4647 if you receive NHS care.
Missed and Late Cancellation of Appointments
If you have to cancel your appointment for any reason please give as much notice as possible. Appointments cancelled or missed without adequate time of notice (at least 24 hours; 48 hours for appointments of 30 minutes or more) will incur a fee.
If you receive NHS care and you miss or cancel two appointments and give less than 24-hours' notice, we may not be able to complete your treatment or offer you NHS care in the future.
