We go well beyond the recommendations of the General Dental Council in terms of continuing training undertaken each year.

The Practice Team & Their Qualifications

Dr. Edmund Acheampong Principal Dental Surgeon BDS(Ghana}1995. LDSRCS(Eng) 1997)) - GDC number: 72929 Dr. Acheampong graduated from the Turner Dental School of the University of Manchester in 1995. He then went on to do further training in the capacity of House Officer and Senior House Officer at the Dental Hospitals of Newcastle Upon Tyne, Leeds Dental Institute and the Birmingham Dental Hospital. He gained a lot of experience treating patients in the Restorative, Primary Care and Oral Surgery Departments. In 1997 after taking further examinations he obtained the Licence in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He joined the then Bloomfield House Dental practice (as an assistant dental surgeon) in August 1998. In 2000 he became a partner and in the same year, the principal. He has special interest in orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry and dental implantology. Another area of interest is non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatments. He has completed a certificate training in cosmetic dentistry at the Q-Clinic of London\'s Harley Street to perfect his skills in this interesting area. Membership of professional organisations: Active member - British Academy of Cosmetic Dentists, British Dental Association, British Endodontic Society, The Association of Dental Implantology. Dr. Acheampong is available for appointments - Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays: 9am - 5:45pm, Tuesdays :9am - 7:30pm, and Fridays, 8am - 5pm.

Mrs Anne O'Brien Practice Manager Anne has been Practice Manager since 2005. She has had a varied career in business including translating, secretarial work and sales.
